Season 5 of FiM starts today! Only hours left...

The usual spoiler policy applies: I will not be posting anything containing spoilers for a new episode until at least 24 hours after the episode itself has aired on TV (so info from leaks, promo clips, synopses, what a staff member said at a con, etc. still count as spoilers until it actually airs). After that, it's fair game! I'll do my best to hide/unhide page comments appropriately, too.

This is shaping up to be an exciting season, but please try to keep in mind that we all have different levels of spoiler-tolerance and some people like to go in with no idea what to expect! Conversely, if you don't want any spoilers at all, remember to browse with caution and consider avoiding places where they're likely to be posted.

Let's get ready for FRIENDSHIP! :iconbrohonk1plz::iconbrohonk2plz:

I use Photoshop CS5 (and occasionally, but rarely, Paint Tool Sai) on a Wacom Intuos4 tablet. I'm not very active on dA, sorry; I only post finished art here! Most of my sketches and doodles and original stuff are on my tumblr!

Feel free to use my art for personal use like avatars/icons/wallpapers andwhatnot, EXCEPT for commissions (please ask the commissioner about those) and bases (please do not make or use bases from any of my art). Just credit me where you can, and a linkback is always nice! If you would like to use my art in a journal skin, website layout, or something that you intend to redistribute, please ask first.

I do not currently take requests, commissions, or art trades.

I started blender and Unity 3D and wanted to try to imitate that 3D model you did of Trixie but is not anymore aviable.
Too bad, I'll try to model steampunk spike instead. (if you don't mind)

That's because I severely reworked and updated her; the most recent version is here! :) There's a wireframe (in quads) turnaround here, good topology is still a weak point for me but I've been assured that she's not terrible.

if you still want to model Steamquestria Spike, then I'd love to see him when you're done! (I tried a while back, to go with the little Twilight I made for my dad...it didn't go very well. :iconapplejackgrossplz:)

either way, good luck! Blender has a very steep learning curve, but once you get the hang of it it's ridiculously streamlined -- googling 'blender [version] [thing you want to do]' helps a lot, as does following along with simple modeling tutorials, just to get the most-used keys memorized. every other 3D program feels super-clunky to me in comparison. (ALSO one big tip, if you're using 2.63 or higher -- either disable ngons, which are faces with more than 4 vertices, or at least be very, very conscious of them! they have their uses, but they can seriously ruin your topology and I wouldn't recommend them if you're just starting out. plenty of us were annoyed that blender now uses them by default for subdividing. :x)

Thanks, I just started with Blender because is needed it for Unity 3D Game Studio, that one has nearly zero 3d modeling tools.
I had a very hard time with those ngons because every tutorial don't have them and changes a lot the way you model whatever you want to model.
Once I finish (in a few weeks due to work and other stuff) I'll show you the model.

Hmm...
It's been a long time since I last came here and the first thing I noticed was, that I actually knew the most recent uploaded picture. So my first thought was "Oh :nuu:, did she become inactive?!" (even though I haven't been here for months. Sowwy, I still think you're an amazing artist, I swear! I still have that Fluttershy Tee with your signature on it :D Though if didn't know that it had to be there, I couldn't even tell that your brother signed it, too... :<)
Then I read your deviantID and it made me wonder. I know a lot of artists, or I see it on a lot of artists' pages I just happen to pass by, that they are hardly active on dA but have a tumblr where they post all their stuff. Why is that? Does tumblr have some unviersally superior aspect? If you happen to be around here sometime, I hope you can take the time to tell me.^^

I'm more active on tumblr because I post a lot of sketches/doodles/generally quick stuff, and I don't like to post unfinished art on dA. :)
