This is my mom as a pony! She is reading historical stuff because she's a historian. Yay history!

I also baked her a cake, because I'm an awesome daughter. How many of your other kids give you cake AND ponies, Mom? That's right.

I got my mom a gift card to a local health food store that she likes. Decent, but not half as interesting as cake + ponies. That said, my mom doesn't have much sugar tolerance and doesn't know much about ponies, so cake + ponies would probably have been a bit impractical of a gift in my case.
