...and now you know. Next project: Pony calendar for 2012! At some point an actual version with dates and everything will be available, but for now, here's the picture.

So here's January, with a group shot to start off the year! The rest of the year will be based around individual characters (with one exception) -- I've already made my final decisions, so I'm not taking suggestions, sorry! I decided to focus on main and established characters, rather than the fan-characters/background ponies, so there is no Derpy month, my apologies. :[ Although 2012 just wouldn't be right if she didn't make a cameo!

Thanks to everyone who came to the stream! :heart: (Luna and Celestia are still off getting ice cream.)

This picture makes me think of a suggestion that I saw in a MLP fanfiction. Maybe Luna should have her own equivalent of the Midsummer Sun festival - the Midwinter Moon. Technically it would be on the Winter Solstice (12/21 by the Earth calendar) although, if the Ponies use an astronomical calendar, it would fall on 12/31 or 1/1.

I mention it because the moment I saw this I thought immediately of the Mane 6 helping out Princess Luna by making a point of watching the first ever Midwinter Moonrise, thus giving the festival legitmacy.
