So, who wants an Alfalfa Monster shirt?

Project is currently CANCELLED. Sorry everypony. :[

You can order them here: [link]

:iconreadplz:

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME AN ORDER OVER DEVIANTART OR E-MAIL. If you're having trouble with paying through Amazon (I believe you will need a credit card) and absolutely can't pay through them, we can try to work something out, but one of the reasons we want to go through Kickstarter is because it's a trustworthy service that won't charge anybody and will take no cut if we have to cancel for whatever reason. I really want to stay away from actually taking money until I'm 100% certain this will go through. This is also our first time with Kickstarter, so please bear with us!

The way this will (hopefully!) work is thus:

Go to the Kickstarter page, read the info, watch Texel and I be stupid with socks. Do a quick sign-up (it really is quick!) and order your shirt! (You can order by clicking the big green 'Back This Project' button up at the top by the video; this should take you to the list of options.) Then you'll go through the Amazon Checkout process; a hold may be placed on your credit card, but you will not be charged at this time. You will also not be asked for any info; don't worry, that'll come later. (For more info, Kickstarter's pledging FAQ can be found here.)

The order period will run for about 20 days; after that time is when your card will be charged and you'll be able to send us info, such as your shipping address, shirt size (PLEASE check your size, some people find they run big and some people find they run small, and we can't change it after it's ordered!), desired shirt color, and anything else we might need to know. You can also tell us which pony you'd like if you pledged for one of the rewards! The delivery date is set at October, but it will most likely be before then; it was required to set a date and I figured better safe than sorry. :E

Then, assuming all goes as planned, your shirt(s) and any extras you might have ordered will join you soon, lurking at your doorstep or P.O. box, waiting for your guard to lower.

Pretty much all the info is on the Kickstarter page. One thing that got a bit confusing that I want to clear up is: selecting the $23 option will get you EITHER a white-outline with nothing written on it, OR a shirt with something written on it (in either black or white). Just let us know what you want when you send us the info.

eta 2: Turns out not all colors are available in all sizes. :x Go here for more info.

eta: I just want to reiterate, again, that this is not a huge profit margin for us. The amount of money you see raised under Kickstarter is NOT going straight into our pockets -- it's the budget we have BEFORE buying the shirts, ink, masking, spacer material, writing off the waste, and everything else. The rewards are there pretty much to absorb the cost of shipping materials and the extra shirt costs (since by offering a range of colors and sizes, we're missing out on being able to order them in bulk). Please do not assume that we're making out like alicorn royalty here -- the majority of that money is being put right back into the shirts.

Is that selection of cards the only ones useable?

Credit cards, you mean? I believe so, sorry. :[ If you can't pay through Amazon drop me a note and we'll try to work something else out.

Soooo...
can I still get one or two of those?

:iconegophiliac:
Yes, you can! But there's been an issue with the shirt sizing; please read this first. :]

The video was awesome. If all commercials were like that, I would have a lot more stuff.

Wow, you guys didn't just meet your funding goal - you met it, banished it, and then imprisoned it in a dungeon in the place that you banished it to!

Also the shirts look awesome. ;)

Ha, I really wasn't expecting this much -- Texel told me to set it higher, but I was like NO, NO, I'M NOT EVEN SURE WE'LL HIT THIS MANY, I'LL KEEP IT $300. Now we're thinking we may have to do multiple runs...clearly I underestimated the power of the alfalfa monster.

:icontwilightnoesplz::iconsays3plz: Alfalfa! Run away!

Yeah, honestly if the speed of orders keeps up I don't think anyone would blame you for taking a little time with the production. Screen printing by hand is a non-trivial process. But the results are worth it.

After all, a chicken in every pot and a shirt in every microwave is the American Dream.

Or something like that.

"I will include a sketch of a pony, wearing socks, hi-fiving The Great and Powerful Trixie (also in socks) while riding an animal of the backer's choice"

I think that it is the platonic ideal of OMFG
